Houses
for the Hammer
Clarke Gammon Wellers is to hold its first
property auction sale since the merger between Clarke Gammon and
Wellers - specialists
in agricultural and equestrian property, and rural practice. The
auction will be held on Wednesday 30th July at the firm’s
Guildford Auction Rooms, Bedford Road.
The auction will include detached and semi detached properties
with most in need of refurbishment or modernisation. Representative
of the property headlining the day is Moors Farm, Elstead. A detached
house boasting grounds of approximately 21 acres. Accommodation
comprises two bedrooms, three/four reception rooms and various
outbuildings, and planning permission to extend (details of which
are available from the solicitors or auctioneers’ office.)
Moors Farm is a well established property and this will be its
third appearance at auction; the hammer first fell in April, 1865
and then again in May 1881.
For the inexperienced, auctions can be a daunting prospect and
are often regarded as the preserve of the developers and dealers,
however, Clarke Gammon Wellers has over 80 years experience in
the property industry and provide friendly and comprehensive advice
concerning buying or selling property at auction.
Jeremy Zeid, Partner at Clarke Gammon Wellers and Property Auctioneer
said; “Property Auction is an effective selling vehicle for
everyone, sellers can maximize property value and for purchasers,
it’s a quick transaction avoiding problems of chains, gazumping
and vendors changing their minds.” Private buyers and owner
occupiers should not be put off as it is by far the most efficient
and stress free way of purchasing
property.
Fundamental to a successful auction is professionalism and efficiency,
and at Clarke Gammon Wellers the service and level of commitment
expected of such a highly respected firm is first class. “We
act with integrity and sell with skill and speed” commented
Zeid.
Clarke Gammon Wellers we will be holding further property auctions
throughout the year and entries for forthcoming sales are now being
